speedo

Post by jjmoto » Thu Aug 30, 2012 10:08 pm

My bike has a km/h speedo with mph marked inside which i believe is common, but does the odometer count km's or miles?

Would depend a lot on where you are.
Aussie would be klms.
I would think that whatever your country has (mph or Klmsph) your odo would be the same.

If it's marked kmh on the outer ring, then I would assume that the odo will read in km's.

IIRC, there used to be ways of converting a KMH speedo to read MPH.

My TRX came with a gold coloured one of these fitted at the bottom end of the speedo cable where it fastens to the drive on the wheel
