Has anyone fitted an alternative hugger to a standard TRX swing-arm ?
I have a stock hugger a rounded over one but would like something along these lines http://www.ebay.ie/itm/180927229463?ssP ... 1423.l2649
Its just the hugger Im interested in...If anyone recognise the bike or the hugger please let me know.....

Re: Huggers ?
from memory, this looks like a kawasaki ninja 600 or 750 hugger (although at a certain point they become pretty much interchangeable)
(and that's not even going on purely the colour either! go me)
huggers like this are fairly widely available on eBay and the like, but good luck getting them to fit the TRX swingarm exactly. you may have to do some subtle drilling and use gromits and washers to make it look like it's meant to fit.
i would check (as far as it's possible to check) where the fixing points are on the TRX swingarm, and see if there is (at the very least) some plastic in those places to drill into and fit gromits/washers.
maybe take a few measurements from your own bike and see what's what.
[edit: i remember the GSXR sometimes has huggers like these - although they could easily be an aftermarket thing, as i tend to look only at older GSXRs on the second hand market]

Re: Huggers ?
TDM900 one fits with a little bit of persuasion - looks better than the fibreglass ones IMO

Re: Huggers ?
Thanks guys,
From the colour I thought it might be a Kawasaki so I looked and found it was a Kawasaki Z1000 2007 to 2009.
I havent looked at the TDM hugger yet.... But thanks again.
