ok i have seen some prices for brembos but is this the going price for a used pair?

'04 R6 bluespots and master cylinder would be cheaper and deliver good braking.

think i will keep my brembos and just fit the braided lines i have got instead.

Yep, cheapest option and the goldline Brembo`s are definately a match for the blue spots, the later silver and gold spots are however better than the Brembo`s.
Pad choice comes into play too when guaging how well your brakes work, never forget that. :wink:

Upgrade? Aren't they functionally the same as the regular calipers?

The Brembo`s are definately a better caliper than the standard sumitomo calipers on the European TRX`s. :wink:
