Sorry, had to chuck that in there. While this board's software is free, I do pay for the host and bandwidth. Not to toot my own horn.... well maybe just a little...

Dunno... This place will be here as long as I'm healthy and able to work... With a 5 and 7 year old, I hope that's a long time. The TRX isn't going to get sold either...

When the site does come back, please remind everyone there is a secondary here, and if the site management agrees, you guys are more than welcome to move in. It's a tax write off for me right now...

Just to explain, the main forum is hosted by "My Free BB". While it is the same software as this board is running, the host is a freebie. "The bills" get paid for through advertising...

This one is on a paid for server in the US that I use for my business and is under a subdomain that doesn't cost me any extra. As long as there isn't a massive flood of uploading / downloading video files or other heavy data, I doesn't cost me anything extra to run.

I'm not trying to push you folks into fleeing the main site, it doesn't do anything for me other than make it easier for me to monitor the boards (I had a heck of a time getting the main site to load just about every time I went there). I check here often, simply because it's on my web...

But the forums are not of course.

It's a good job it's free, cos they would never make any money out of it.
