Woo fooking hoo - 102.3 bhp !!!!!

Just got back from getting my bike dyno'd. Peak power was 102.3 bhp 8)

My scanner is fecked at the moment so I'll post charts next week at work but the curve is a thing of beauty :D :D :D .

Ran it back to back with and without TPS and can tell you that disconnecting the TPS gives more power right the way through the range (approx 1 - 2bhp) and a bit more torque (again right the way through the range). Peak power with TPS connected was 100.7. That said, it's a bit lumpy under 4,000 and is noticeable on the road.

I also got down there before fitting the flatslides and got a peak power run of 92.1 (TPS connected) so can confirm that FCR41 with K&N filters are worth a power hike of over 8bhp. Not quite the 11 promised by Brett ( :wink: ) but still a hell of a lot more than I was expecting and perhaps the best bhp per pound mod you can do.

The most interestign chart have 3 runs over laid - CV vs FCR vs FCR (no TPS) - and I'll get this up asap.

What specs have you landed on the jets/screws of the FCR´s?? I guess we got quite similar climate in UK vs. Swedish west coast....

OK! So i guess i will try 160 on the left and 165 on the right then.
Also think that the 41´s for TRX are set to 4th groove so i´ll try lower the needle.
No tweek in needle taper, slow air, fuel screw then!?

Told you the tps mod I figured out was worth doin'!
not actually done that yet, this was just with the TPS pulled off carbs. will be doing it now but designing some sort of switch so that I can go between the 2 (need to do more testing but TPS is deffo better for road)

I want some FCRs.

What's the point of the TPS again? Yes timing advance but what is the benefit of the variation in advance, can you tell?

With TPS there is much less 'surging' at lower revs (4k or less) and when on half open throttle. Not noticeable over 4k really.

I guess TRX HP figures are kinda like bowling scores... Happy if you break 100, pissed if you only get a 99... :wink:
