Waz sign's off

Post by Waz » Fri Sep 22, 2006 2:52 am

Hi all,

Just want to tell those that don't already know, that I have sold my beloved TRX. The person that brought it is a Kiwi living in Sydney. He has a mate that also owns a TRX (both seem really nice guys).
I know I don't need to explain, but I have met some great people from the former (troubled) site and feel compelled by friendship to explain.

Recently an old mate of mine had gone to the twisties in the sky, we had organised a retirement ( in 5 years time) around Australia trip on Motorbikes. I felt compelled to do this trip on his behalf ASAP as the reailty of the unexpected has hit and I realise that if I don't do it soon.......I may never do it. So, obviously the TRX was not the ideal tool to do this trip, so I started looking at something that would suit (as an addition to the TRX). Anyhow, this coincided with some family issues that required me to come up with some cash FAST so the only means of me doing this was to sell the TRX :( . A mate of mine bought a Guzzi California a while ago and then decided that it wasn't for him. So, with funds returned I bought the Guzzi and am now setting it up to do the trip starting with heading North from home around Mid Winter next year.

It has been a sad and troubled time for me, and the day I seen the TRX go was difficult. The Guzzi is .......well.......different, but I think it will serve my needs well........it even handles pretty good for what it is 8) .

I will continue to visit this forum to get my TRX fix, and who know's after the trip..........another TRX?

Cheers
Waz

Thanks Scott,

I'll gladly ride at the rear (will not be able to do much else anyway) on any rides you see fit to have me.

My arse is already sore from kicking myself already. I can see myself in the market for a TRX once I have completed my "mission".
I'll still be checking the site out to get my fix.

Thanks Max

I first rode a TRX in 1995 when it was released over here. It was a shop friend's demo bike and I hogged it for a couple months. Did a track day instructor ride on it as well. Told myself I would own one someday (I was saving for a wedding at the time). Years later, when I could finally afford buying another bike I couldn't think of one I wanted more. Mine's not going anywhere as long as I'm able to fight!
