Hi Dave!

There you have dug out something ...

Personally I didn't buy from Klaus Görz yet - but here and there I've heard some German TRXers that did that they were quite happy with it (him).

For instance some guy wrote that he had asked Mr. Görz for an overhaul of rear shock absorbers (not TRX) and he sent him a pair of overhauled ones for testing before ordering some! =D>

Generally I heard (read) that Klaus Görz is the adress for special parts / works but you'd need time if you order something.

But I'll ask in the German forum if no one of my German fellas will write here voluntarily

Investigating greetings from Munich!

:? Killer, the site build states to 2008, as I looked at that to see when the parts and prices were last updated, maybe you beat them in the world cup and so he ignored you??

Hi there!

I just talked to Klaus Görz on the phone and he said that he, sadly enough, has no Over parts for the TRX anymore and even got no contacts to Over anymore.

He asked whether Over would still produce parts at all?

To find this out, it would be great to know somebody living in Japan ... :?

Besides this, Klaus was very impressed when I told him that there's still a vivid TRX community all over the world!
(Klaus was a sponsor of the originally German TRX forum years [ages?] ago!)

Investigated greetings from Munich!

Over quit making the stuff YEARS ago. Every now and then something pops up on the Japanese yahoo auction which is where I got my ignitor but you usually end up paying more than it was new... :(

Thank you, Max, for the info!

I feard that something like that could be the cold hard truth ... #-o

Already as Klaus Görz said that he had no contacts to Over anymore I had not much hope ... :(

Your "greetings" always make me laugh! =D>

Too bad it's true this time.

BTW, that OVER igniter is really nothing more than a stock "export" (non-Japanese domestic) model with the TPS cut, full advance and rev limiter increased 1,000 RPM I believe. The "mod" that people have posted in the past is pretty close.

It couldn't be done easily with the domestic Japanese version because of the 180kph speed limiter circuit involved.

As for the titanium con rods, pistons and other stuff it was a short run right after the bike hit the market here in 1995. I think they even stopped producing new stuff before the bike itself went off the market. Pipes were available for a while but now they are like gold.

I realise this is probably TRX heresy, but unless they come with one of the OVER race bikes, are the cans etc. really that special?

Not that I wouldn't like a set myself, of course. :D

The cans, not such a big deal. The large bore header pipes, yes. The SP Tadao set I had (besides cracking issues) was also a good set. This only really comes into play if you are running FCR 41s though is my bet.

I found a Over exhaust, the site says:You may experience a long delivery time for this item: up to six weeks.
