yes, these famous words were uttered to me by the nice man in the nice golf who decided that regardless of the fact he was blinded by the sun, he was going to go a head and pull out anyway.
The bike, which has been on the road for a whole 2 WEEKS, now needs a new fairing, clutch lever, engine case, exhaust, mirror, indicator and a few other odds and sods. The garage I was taking it too to have the tyres changed is about 200m from where this bloke pulled out on me and they're doing a assessment of the damage now.
What a hassle.

At least it's clearly his fault. Get on to the insurers straight away! Also as it's a non fault accident get on to a credit hire company for a replacement vehicle whilst your is off the road. There's one just for bikes, let me have a dig about the web and I'll get back to you.

Found it!! All costs are recovered from the other party's insurers so give them a bell.

My insurers are going to sort a hire bike I think, their main people are going to get back to me on monday apparently - the people who can dish out the hire bike.
I'm fine, by the way;

Oh no! Glad you're ok. Drove through Bognor yesterday and today (little 400 mile round trip to see someone who wasn't bloody there!!!) and I was keeping my eyes open for you TRX.
Hope it's sorted quick

You punch out hard in front of you, and after its connected and splattered his nose, you say " sorry mate I didnt see you there"!!
Did you get local plod involved for your 'Injuries' ? If not its always a thought, especially if there are no witnesses. Just remember insurance companies dont hand out money to anyone.
