Sadly my beloved Trixy fell over in the carpark at the kids football yesterday.
Damaging LH mirror, clutch lever, LH pillion/exhaust hanger, fairing cracked due to indicator being punched through it and seriously scratching what was an immaculate machine. Made for an expensive football game. Just about to start searching for required parts so if anyone has any of this they want to move on I would love to hear from you.

Happened to me to the other day. Right before me. I actually caught it and put it down softly. Went past that point of keeping it up. Broke tip of clutch lever and also cracked the faring, same as you. And n small scratch on exhaust. Didn't know whether I must laugh or cry. And the worst is I can only be pissed off at myself!
Let you in on n little secret...
Use super glue and "koek soda" (Afrikaans) Think it is called baking soda in English. Makes it hard as a rock. You can even build up little holes and marks. Easy to sand down and fill up again. Did it on mine. Works perfectly. Put super glue on and sprinkle the baking soda over it and rub it in with your finger. Make it dry almost instantly.
Little trick I learned from my dad.
I bought a new lever from yamaha. When I replaced it I broke off the damm screw that holds the assembly to the handle bars. Now THAT sucked!!! Had the drill into the bolt and use my easy outs. Sorted now!
Hope it helps.

Insurance company have agreed to cover repairs, didnt take too many parts to exceed insurance excess and assessor was pleasantly surprised at bikes condition (on the non damaged side that is). There was more damage than I thought, with some slight scratching on engine sidecover, barend, indicator and sidestand cutout switch sheared off also. Local Yamaha dealer repairing and guarantees me it will be better than new! Lets hope. Couple of weeks to wait though as some parts coming ex Japan.

No, I didn't have that much damage. But then again, I set it down as softly as I could.
