I've got one similar from Demon Tweeks. Very handy and easy to use.

yea i use one too. very stable. you could just use a trolly jack to pivot the front up enough to take the wheel out. i did it this way a few weeks back to get my forks polished. just used an axel stand to keep it on place.

My stand looks exactly like that red one in the initial post and it's awesome. You do need to use the right size pin though as it goes into the hollow inside the steering stem. The hole in the TRX is 22mm, so you'll need a 21mm pin.
You need to use a rear stand in conjunction with it.
I bought mine from Kaneg in Australia who are a top mob to deal with. (http://www.kaneg.com.au)

which is a PITA if you have more than one bike - which is why I bought the NWS stand as it is universal

The pins in this stand are replacable, it takes about ten seconds. It comes standard with 5 smaller pins and bigger pins are available as well so it should fit your MV, your Brough Superior and your moped as well with the appropriate pin.

I'm guessing if the pin size for the steering head stand is wrong then it won't work? I have a Anderson steering head lifter which currently has a pin much smaller then the steering stem hole. I can't get the bloody thing to work for the life of me! I bought the stand second hand, and this is the first time i've tried to use it. I guess i'll have to find a new 21 mm pin.

My Kaneg stand came standard with smaller pins the biggest being 17mm. It worked in that the bike was lifted but the right size pin is a lot more stable and I guess would be less likely to cause damage inside the steering tube from too much back and forth pressure. Well worth getting the right size pin.

Well the pin that mine has is only about 11 mm, so i guess i shouldnt be suprised that it doesnt wanna work. I've just ordered a new pin from anderson stands so hopefully it'll be all sweet.

I've got a foldable Anderson stand, but it looks very similar to the one in the first piccy too.
Had it for a few years. Great =D>
