All prices and quality varies depending on the company and a good powdercoater is hard to find.
After alot of ringing around and quotes the best for money and for quality ive found is a firm in redditch called redditch shotblasting.
They shotblasted and powdercoated satin black my yzf1000 rear wheel (to go on the trx soon) and my honda transalp swingarm for 65 quid.
Make sure any bearings are removed before powdercoating cos youll never get the feckers out after!! For wheels most places charge around 50 to 60 quid, for a frame im not sure mate...maybe 100 to 150 quid. Definately recommend them though, they are on 01527 529659.
As for polishing rims, ive done mine myself as theyre not really that hard to do but again ringing around is your best bet.
I got quoted 300 quid for a set of wheels once to have the rims polished then found a firm(unfortunately moved to oz now) that could do them for 20 quid a wheel!!

Dill,
Mine cost, from memory, about £80 for two wheels, which was strip the old grey paint, and powdercoat yellow. Cost me another £25 to take the wheels to my local bikeshop first and get them to strip off the bearings, discs and tyres, then another £20 for them to put it all back on afterwards.
Had the work done at MK Powdercoaters in Milton Keynes a few months back, although thats of no use to you down there!!
Dave.

Billy if you're going to travel as far as Redditch you could give this fella a ring. Pretty sure he was doing powder coat when I last dealt with him. The quality of his work is most excellent, dude.

His work is very nice.
Dont want to go that far up but you seem to get more for your money up that way. Gkl does nice work too but again quite pricey.

Dill, there's a place in Exeter that does it I think - I'll have a hunt through the local site to see if I can find out who/where (Marsh Barton I guess)

Found the thread I was looking for.
A few guys I know have used First Choice Finishes, Exhibition Way, Pinhoe, Exeter and rate it highly - one of the guys was quoted £30 for a rear wheel off a GSXR600, altho he only paid £20 as they didn't have enough change LOL.
There's also a place called Revills at Exeter Airport, they shot-blasted and stove-enamelled the wheels off a VFR750 for £20 each (01392 366574) altho they quoted another guy £40 a wheel on his SP1.
Slightly further away is another good place - Steve Leach in Plymouth £70 for 2 wheels.

What was mk's turn around like and also whats the quality of finish like??
Theyve come up with 60 quid for the ace wheel and transalp swinger plus its gonna save me a tank of petrol/postage to redditch, its only half hour from me by car.
Cheers

Billy,
Soz for the laxidazical response, but I have a life elsewhere.
MK powdercoat turnaround was about a working week for one wheel, but depends on workload at the time I suppose.
Finish was good and I'm happy, but wasn't as 'thick' as the job I had done by Profile 2000 in Covenrty, now gone bust I believe.
