As we don't have an FAQ section I thought I would make this post sticky.

Feel free to add any other free hosting sites to this thread (as frankly ICBA)

join a free photo hosting site like http://www.photobucket.com

upload your photo from your pc

paste the img tag into a post

Try This.
http://www.PostImage.org
click on "add image hosting to your forum".
I guess this is more in Maxs area but it operates on netrider, an Aussie based forum. its a free image hosting service that appears when you click on "post reply" and a option is provided for the sender to post 3 thumbnail images which I guess can then be enlarged by the reader. If you go to their site all will be explained. However it seems easy to use and foolproof. (well I can work it )

Easy mistake ... you needed to add the image tags, which in non-geek language  means....
you needed to add [ img ] and [/ img ] at either end of the link (without the spaces

http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad3/ ... CN2250.jpg
should be
[ img ]http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad3/ ... CN2250.jpg[ /img ]

Easy way to do it is to put the link in your post, then highlight the whole link and click on the "Img" button just about where you're typing, that automatically adds the image on/image off tags. To check if it's worked ok just click on Preview and you'll see what your post will look like.

The same theory applies to quoting someone ... make sure the Quote tags are in place :)

Geek hat off now ... phew

I believe "Tapatalk" will post photos directly from your smart phone.
You can also get a photobucket app but apparently it has a lot of scam ads, and if you put ad blockers in it makes you sign in every time you change pages.(apparently.)
