Productivity sunday & new rearsets

Post by Killerwhale » Sun Jun 10, 2007 10:10 pm

Well, after catalunya GP (damn what a race!!!!) i was somewhat inspired to do a little work on the bike....
Started of with a wash and getting off all insects...they´re a PAIN!!

Chrome rim stickers went on....

New oil and filter.....

Flushed the cooling system and filled her with fresh liquid....

Shortened the hose from reservoar to master cylinder and changed pads to some carbon lorraine SBK5....even more stopping power now!! 8)

Last but not least Max´s rearsets went on (these: http://trx850.motomaniac.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54 )
45 min job incl. taking the old crap off, everything fitted so nice!
Installed them GP shift style and won´t look back...feels so much more....right!!
Has to give them A+++....and the GP shift is GOLD....and they look really nice!! \:D/

Now it´s just the front suspension (oil and springs) left before trackday on saturday. Damn it´s going to be fun!!

Cheers everybody!

It´s a -98 R1 one....it´s almost a straight fit but it sits in about 2cm lower than the TRX light.
Bought on Ebay.
