Already picked up a 1989 Honda Transalp in excellent condition from Trator sales ...
I finally got to build the trx I’ve always wanted in this last one. Only regret was not getting in any track days on it. A few local forum members have offered one of their TRX’s if I ever need to taste that awesome feeling of a trx once again.

Not many active members these days, and with the retirement of some who were very active, I expect the forum to become even quieter.
I'm still managing what little I can of the forum, but I haven't heard from Jak in over a year, and it's two years since I offered to take responsibility for running the show.
Many thinks are broken and inaccessible to me to try and fix, so please forgive the odd post in the wrong sub-forum, I can't even move them any more.
It's summer in Australia, currently 27c and 35%RH, perfect weather for riding whatever bike you have.

At the mo I'm a little bit tired (it's noon now) having got the turbo boost in my body yesterday afternoon. My wife got it the day before so is ahead of me and has already recovered.

I've had two Bros 650's and my wife still owns one, great tuneable little motors! so what you gonna do to the Transalp???

Merry Christmas guys, still have mine, but not had the opportunity to do much the last couple of years, still lurking around here of course

It’s a first gen (87/88) and the guy who owned it for the 33 yrs was a mechanic and machinist so what well looked after. 50,000 km on the clock and 20,000km ago he put in a Wiseco big bore kit taking it from 580 to 630 plus some port work. Recently rebuilt front and rear suspension and has new chain/sprockets/ brakes, disc and lines. New tyres and battery so just waiting to get it registered to ride it home.
Nice tidy original looking bike but I’ve already got new coils and ignition on their way from Ignitech.
Original owner is now in a nursing home and I intend keeping this one till I’m incontinent, being spoon fed and have no idea who I am..
