OMG - is it really necessary to shrink the pillion seat to a minimum and - in turn - build a 2 metre long cantilever beam for the number plate?!? #-o [-X

Also the 2 metre long cantilever beam for the pillion pegs / exhaust mount: why?!?

The TRX is a beauty - modern motorbikes are ... ugly. 8-[

Please Mr. Yamaha: DON'T build a modern TRX!!!

Praying greets from Munich!

AGREED, a tidy tail and slip on would be in order, my eyes are on the formula, which has been missing in manufactures model releases for a long time.

The pure technical data may be okay with (some!) modern motorbikes - but just one look at them and I even don't want to touch them, let alone, ride them.

And then I haven't yet mentioned the "clocks" - kinda mere smart(ass)phones nowadays.

But that's my taste and I'm a dinosaur, obviously.
But the T-ReX also! :D 8)

Not yet extinguished greets from Munich!

 Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Have seen only three-quarter front views so far.

Directly viewed from the side there's even more disturbing things:

Tank line is decreasing to the front,
headlight far too deep,
...

I'm afraid I don't think that there's a cure for you(r taste). #-o

All I can see is two quick-witted guys with a very good sense of humour! =D>

PS:
The modern motorbikes look quite similar to each other (as did the motorbikes until the late 70s to be honest ...)

I have to agree on that. Cars too by the way.

There's not many things to work with when the basic platform is restricted to a wheel at each end, or each corner, and a motor somewhere in between.
Styling is about the only thing you have to play with, and some are better at it than others.
The Ducati 916 is, in my humble opinion (which, I should make clear, is the only correct view), sex on wheels.
Cars... I like old racing cars. Cooper, Lotus, Elfin et al.
I like them so much that I just bought this to drive into town and do my shopping.

I know, you just bought it because of the three windscreen wipers, right?

Hey dicky!

Shopping?

Ah, okay, the glove compartment seems quite useful in this respect ...

But every shopping tour with your car is obviously more fun!
