Test ride

Post by kenbev » Sat Dec 05, 2020 1:48 am

Took my TRX recently restored for its first test ride to-day and all went well but I found it to be very highly geared. My question is does anybody know what the perfect sprocket size would be to stop the snatch between gears. Thanks. Kenbev. :?: :?:

Hi kenbev!

Not really sure what you mean with "snatch" ...

For me and many others a shorter gearing of 17 / 42 (39 is the original at the rear) is good for compensating the long first gear.

Thanks for the reply. Long time since I have ridden a TRX and had forgotten about the long first gear. I have a 42 tooth rear sprocket to try and see if that makes it a bit better. Thanks and keep well. Kenbev. =D> =D>
