How did you tidy up your tail?

I have a Black 97 which I’m cleaning up at the moment. I’ve seen so many pictures of TRX’s that people have done a beautiful job on cleaning up the number plate/indicators area and getting rid of all the chunky plastic under there. I’m keen to do the same. How did you go about it?

Cut the tail off the tray and underneath you’ll find 2 bolt and you can use those to place an piece of alloy bent at the rear so you can mount a numberplate / indicators.
Chop the tail light mount off the tray so you can drill and mount it further back level with the tail section.

Thanks! Also plan to reshape the front fairing to take a 5 3/4 inch round headlight. I’ll post pics when it’s done!
