Is my fairing a genuine Yamaha item

As the title suggests I'd like to know whether the fairing on my bike is genuine or an after market replacement. It doesn't have any decals but is made from plastic and not GRP/fibreglass. Are there any features I should be looking for to determine that it's the genuine article - it has a small crack by the mirror mount which I'll have repaired if it is.
