TRX project with Dymag wheels

Thought I had bought this recently but was pipped at the post for £1770. (ebay auction) item 252490530799
It was previously owned from new by timtrix. It had been in an accident and was missing tank seat fairing and discs, but was otherwise good with Dymag wheels. Mikuni 40 flatslides, Nitron shock and gold valves. Would have made a great track bike.
Anyone off here got it?

Got all excited for a moment, been out today and put a deposit on Ducati 749S, so that should keep me amused for a while.
Keeping the triumph missile for a while too. Going to decide which i like best then sell one. Suspect i'll keep the ducati.

I saw it Dave, I too wonder who got it. The wheels alone would cost you 2K to buy!

I thought it would have been bought mainly for the wheels. They weren't new and the front had a ding. Difficult to know what the used value of the wheels would be, they are so rare for a trx. I didn't want it that bad but I went to £1720, it sold for £1770. Would have made a great cafe/track bike.
I sold my old one for £1800 and couldn't see it being worth more than that.
Moved on now, new toy to play with. The full termi system plays a nice tune!

I've already been to Cadwell 4 times this year so far. However haven't ridden the Ducati there yet. I'll see how I get on with it tomorrow at Rockingham.
There is a road bike only day at Donington on 3rd Oct which looks better for me. I prefer the road bike days now, they are a bit more relaxed.
