Who's keen to enter???
It would be good to put them all together under 1 collective catagory and really showcase the TRX and show them all what they are missing out on. (Catagory Eg. Japanese post 1985 )

They prefer bikes that are ridden and we can all attain to that.
There's plenty of us in SE Qld with some excellent examples of the TRX marque in various states of tune, customised or cafe and of course clean cut std TRX's in showroom condition.
It's about time we all rallied together as it's been a couple of years since the last effort of breakfast at Kangaroo point.

Good to hear Alex, Udaysen popped around this morning and is keen too so let's rally the troops and put on a good spread of TRX's . Ultimately it's not about winning a prize but showcasing the TRX for all it's worth but if someone scores a trophy that will be a bonus.

I would trailer in my two..
The past concourses have seen club marquis set up with their machines on show only ..which is another good way to show the type of machine you own.
The CBX1000 and Z900 clubs do it, Indian and Harley is another.
Be interesting to the Laverda lads as we have a similar engine style to their 750s
Parallel twin but 850cc.

You will need to contact them if your wish to have a display in the concours area, All clubs/groups/1%ers that display has been invited and are limited to a set number of bikes. They will not accept blow-ins or tolerate others using the show for their own purposes. This is part of the conditions of use for the area…but if you want to park a couple of bikes together in the parking area, no issues… there is also a limit to the number and type of bikes in the concours, contact them for more details.

That's why I sugested entering in the post 85 Japanese class. I'm already in discussions with them.
There can be no other agendas as such either as the rules state and as Rod mentioned.
It's a good way to network with other TRX riders that may show up and what happens within your own discussions is your own business, but it's not a swap meet just to clarify on what Alex was touching on.

Politics out of the way and to make all aware, I've communicated to the masses of TRX owners via not only this forum but other mediums too so that's why it's not under a collective club or forum banner as such.
Once We have an idea on numbers interested, I feel we should meet beforehand, maybe at Harry's at Newmarket to sit down and have a good chinwag on the nuts n bolts of things hence the notification now to keep things within the boundaries set by Laverda Concours .

Count me in. I missed the bloody thing last year so this'd be a good way to have a good look around.

Entry form is filled out on the day just be there before 10am deadline for those actually entering a motorcycle into the judging arena and the more the merrier that want to enter.
So no stress ...
As mentioned earlier, discussions with people who you meet on the day is your own business and if you network to sell some bits n pieces you have at home in the garage there is nothing restricting you doing that. I would suggest taking a few photos of you collection of spares you may want to sell on your mobile phone. That way if your in discussions with someone , you at least have something to show.
Ok as I suggested earlier, if you enter in the post 1985 Japanese class, we can group ourselves together in 1 section as such.

To quote The Fabulous Zarsoff Brothers, "Shit, bugger bum wee piss fuk fart!!". I have to go to one of my oldest friend's 60th Birthday up the north coast on Saturday the 16th, so can't do the concourse. I'm gutted but I should be able to drop in on Sunday pm if my hangover isn't too bad.
Very disappointed.

I'd suggest we try to get there 8.45am and no later than 9am so it allows us to get a good position and group ourselves together. ( cut off time on application form is 10am)
There is a servo just after you turn off the Gateway into Mt Gravatt/Capalaba Rd road so maybe we can meet there at 8.00am...
Those coming as punters just for the show itself your quite welcome too or you may choose to organise your own time and venue as per previous years.

Don't want to put a dampner on this weekends bike show but i would hat to see all those hours of cleaning go to waste.
The Forecast for this Sunday isn't looking too good for a outdoor bike show.

Official decision from LAVERDA club if it will be postponed due to weather will be made on Friday so I'll post their reply and let you all know...
