Re: Havin' a laff
No longer available from Yamaha, according to the sellers description.
This is part number 4NX-12482-00, used in all TRX850's and TDM900's, even up to the 2013 TDM900.
It is still available new from Yamaha (although they ask a lot for it).

Yep they have been that way for about 4 yrs now Dicky. Got 1 tucked away myself.
If you have a spare keep ahold of it.
I've seen a few in sorry states and if not maintained well especially while the motors apart it will slowly degrade.
That's why they can ask a ridiculous amount but still doesn't justify it..
Decent engine cases are another gem to keep stashed away from a rainy day too.
Fixed up Alex after hitting the roo a fellow up on Facebook last month who where both chasing an alt engine case for around 1/3 of the cost from the wreckers. The flamin wreckers wanted $270.. Highway robbery..

Re: Havin' a laff
Bejesus, that`s even worse! I replaced mine when I first got my TRX, the original was like the top of a pepper pot, cost about 11 quid plus vat if I remember correctly. Breakers are crooks, too many at it, like politicians they simply cannot be trusted.
