Newbie in Essex

Hi All,

Just registered. Looking to get another TRX. Had a 97 Red uk model back in 1998-2002. Loved it. Used it as a toy and was the first bike I trackday'd. I did a few minor upgrades to it over the time. Harris rearsets, Blue spots, stainless renegades and dynojet kit. Single seat cover. Hugger. Dropped the gearing a bit. Sold it for an R1 and then got into track day only bikes. Fancy another one for the road. Quite fancy something that needs some work as enjoy spannering etc.

Yeah, well that didn't take long. Picked up a little project earlier this week. Let the tinkering commence.

Hi, sorry its been awhile since I first posted. Picked this up from another forum member (mad73) in January and looked like this

Original plan was to strip her right down and give it a full refurb, then decided to just give a quick clean up

Gonna use her this year as is. MOT'd her on Saturday - all good.

A quick mop and polish and some purple decals

YZF 750 by the look of it and the wheel colours too.

Yup, YZF750 front end complete and rear swingarm/wheel.
Took her out last night for a nice ride. The front end is definitely more planted than stock forks.
