Another Yamaha Twin

Post by Mav617 » Sun Sep 20, 2015 6:28 pm

So, having a mid-life crisis and remembering my yoof, I went and bought a RD350LCII YPVS yesterday. Must be an import, as it's slow as fook. Carbs off and check the pipes for washers, hope the ECU hasn't been neutered. So much for cheap thrills.........

Hi MH,

Turned out I was riding it wrong! Soon as I started thrashing it then it all came good. It was fast as fook but to be honest I prefer the TRX, so sold the Elsie to fund buying a "spare" TRX. I put in on Ebay at £2K and it went in half an hour - should have asked for more!
