The picture only shows (for me) when opened in a new tab - but indeed a nice "Vivid Red Cocktail" example, seemingly stock except for the cans.

Nope, tried both the picture tags and general link and tags and neither work. Always used to, maybe @Dicky can tell me what I'm doing wrong>

The link works for me.
It does take a little time to load the image, but it gets there eventually.
I've not heard good things about linking to images on Google Drive, they seem to change the url after some time, rendering any links useless.

The (now new added) link also works for me - the tap on " Image" worked only when executed longer and chosen "open in new tab".
