Just about to do the 6 months tax on the bike, then a big clean up at weekend (take all the winter oil protection off), will probably get to 6000 miles this year.

That's 6000 miles in total since I bought it on 1st Aug 1997. Too many toys, not enough time.

If prices are rising then this rascal is 20 years old next year, but I doubt I will part with it, if it crosses my mind to do so I will offer it to you guys 1st, although the chap where it goes for MOT & Service always asks if I want to sell it.

According to an article about bikes that are wannabes in MCM ,dated April 20th 2016. It states that you should buy a Ducati 900 rather than a standard TRX as [quote] "Problems were dreadful cheap suspension, an appalling seat and lousy brakes" so only buy a properly modified TRX! Personally I don't agree, I could never ride one with standard cans but I could live with the rest. My biggest gripe is the big gap between 2nd and 3rd gear,it does my head in on slow tight turns, oh for a 6 speed gearbox. So this article, with regards to the TRX contradicts all their previous advice about buying and values.

Nah, sometimes I clean it without taking it out :P

Popped out to work the other day (50 mile round trip), but I have a company car so its frowned on a bit if you leave it at home too often & its always pissing down at weekends or I'm under or in the old car.

yeah sound bud...

All ok still got the baghira, also just bought a Z3 bmw, as just sold my 650 bandit got a bit bored with that... took the TRX down to Southwales superbikes now called CMC superbikes and it got a lot of attention, i think all the staff came out to have a look, did speak to one of the salesmen that had one and used to track his trx on training days. takes a bit of getting used to riding the TRX again but i am enjoying it... hard work in towns as usual but good on the open raod..

what with the weather and my new Toy the Z3 i dont think the TRX is going to get used a lot i really need to start selling some of my toys and get some newer ones but i think the TRX is going to be with me for a long time...

hows things with you Mince ? hope all is well....

Another 20 years to get to that, mind you did 80 or 90 miles last couple of days, better lay off it a bit. :D

I like the forks. Exhausts way too long though.

Converted to €€'s I paid that order of magnitude for my latest TRX.
But that came with a load of OVER parts.
