OK, I'm back! What did I miss?

Post by M.V. » Sat Apr 26, 2014 4:35 am

What's been going on in the world/motorcycling world in the past month?

Me, I went on holiday to the US, didn't do much Motorcycle related except for California Superbike School at Laguna Seca. Oh, & I put my TRX back together yesterday, new tyres & steering bearings, just like a bought one :)

What have you been up to?

Great weather for riding at this time of year not too hot and not too cold with still around 12 hrs of daylight . Superbike school sound interesting. Learn a few new tricks while there???

Welcome back mate.
Were you a good student at CSS or did you take the Rossi line through the Corkscrew? :P
It must be true, I read it on the internet.

We better have a TRX meet-up so's you can tell us all about it.

How'd the EOS go? Great bit of kit, did you grab heaps of good shots?
Ride Well!
Cheers, Dave.

Yeah, the EOS is great, I was like an Asian tourist! Probably worse actually, I took about 400 shots of the Grand Canyon in a morning. Some were actually OK too! :D Overdue for a ginger beer, I was supposed to catch up with Stu before I left too.

I was a very good student, my instructor James was big, ugly & fast, so I did what I was told.

He either had a thing for Aussies or he was being punished for past indiscretions, 'cos he got me & another older chap from Tasmania to deal with for two days.

James telling me that if you twist the thing on the right you go fast. Really fast.

This is my "WTF?" face coming into the corkscrew

& a view of just how steep it actually is

If it looks slow it's just a trick of the camera :-")

(Those photos are watermarked obviously, I have ordered some actual photos, no intention of stealing these :D )
