We were opposite the Bike. Had a chat with the owner who was racing a 400 Yam. Txr had done 90 odd k and was an 880 or 890. The forks he said had an appointment with the skip.
The van in the background is the BiL. Any photos of the bike he was riding ? Augusta 750.

No sorry, I only had my cell phone with me, so I didn't make much pictures.

Spotted a Dutch or German registered gunmetal grey TRX with an Akra 2 into 1 pipe on the campsite at Olivvers Mount Scarborough at the weekend.

Yes that's Johnny's TRX. He purchased the other pair of Pistons that match mine with maximum weight loss and come in 25 grams lighter than std.
Kitted up with some Ivan Tighe billet cams and Carrillo rods it's another nice motor.
Spoke to him only this afternoon after he returned from P.I. and took it for his first ride.
He just got it together the night before he went to P.I. to put it on show.
He's set it up for a little more torque than HP be a rocket to ride with minimal weight.

Other than that we had a good time. Also went to the Zoo, Queen Vic markets, Melbourne Gaol, Library, Exhibition hall, Collingwood, Fitzroy etc

You seem to have more ice addicts and people with Tourettes than in Sydney, I observed!

I'd go back again, but not for a long while, this was the first time I'd been back to Melb since 1989.

Spotted about 09:30 today (Sunday) a blue TRX turning from the Old Bruce Highway into Pioneer Road towards Pomona as I was driving out of Pioneer Road. I wuz envious 'cause I was driving.

Refreshing an old thread - I occasionally see a green TRX on Abernethy Rd in Belmont - always when I'm in the car or on my commuter Suzuki so there's never any "two way acknowledgement'

Hey Jochen,

how ya been? Yep, hope to make contact with the owner next time I see the bike. I've still got my TRX and will soon be able to get her registered on club plates - which I'm looking forward to, she's a nice old girl. And then maybe someone might spot me out on the road!
