Never gone this far with an Ape, but I should imagine it'd be easy enough because the frames are pretty big and you can hide stuff, whereas you can see pretty much everything the Trx.
I've stripped a couple to sell, and rebuilt a couple of crashers, but never a total take off put back job. Biggest problem with the older Mille's, Tuono's and Falco's imho is that the fuses and relays are up front, so if you do owt that end your bolloxed with a million wires and gizmos to hide. And the dash is mahoosive.
Next project for me is another Fuono [tuono/falco].

Tail looks great. I have an acewell installed and works well. If I was you I would put on the Buell lightning twin headlamps and fairing, best looking twin lamps ever made! That's if you can get hold of em.

Got me forks anodized and put them back together. Put me Prilla Bembo discs on the wheel. Nailed a few bits and bobs on here and theer. Bought a funky gold chain, just awaiting me front sprocket.
ps, scotchbrite wheels are what yer need,,,,lots of em
This weekend I'll try and get the plumbing finished and put the carbs on and maybe start lashing the loom on.
