Well done mate!

You spend the money but at the end of the day is knowledge you're buying!

I didn't know what to do with 2 TRX's, so my dad got the black one on his birthday. He was very excited, but was not able to try the bike immediately because he was recovering from a back injury (is 'hernia' an english word?).
Well, he finally felt good enough to make a brief test ride lately and guess what? He got a ticket in the first km's! #-o

Quality, a father to be proud of!
My old fella (R.I.P) never got zapped by camera`s his bike riding days were over in the late 70`s but he did manage to burn a coppers hand once.
He was stopped on a road with his BSA A10 Gold Flash outfit, there was something creating a misfire so he had pulled over to check it out and was having a ciggy while waiting for the motor to cool down a little. A copper on a Triumph `saint` TR6 pulled over and walked up to him saying, "you can`t stop here it`s dangerous to stop here"!
The old fella told him he had a misfire and suspected the right hand cylinder, following it up with, "if you feel the right hand exhaust you`ll find it`s cooler than the left, that`s a sure sign it`s that cylinder".
The copper took him at his word, slipped off a glove and grabbed a searing hot pipe!
According to my old fella he jumped up and down a lot, swore, and then told the old man to "MOVE IT" before painfully riding off.
I think if I had been there i would have passed urine in my pants!

Edit:
Oh and Tarwetijger, hernia is indeed and English word:

ok..very interesting thread...BUT what makes the cylinders go OVAL...? im guessing that people are labouring the motor instead of allowing it to rev...ive noticed some use a twin like an old Yammie xt 500 ....short piston skirts and all that...OVER TO YOU MINCE...

Fat riders cause them!
Nah, seriously, mostly due to normal wear and tear, throw of the rod stresses etc but also from distortion involving heat cycles of the motor and things being over or incorrectly tightened creating stresses that have to go somewhere.
This can become even more likely with thin bore walls or unprofessional rebores inducing slight tapers.
