I went along to see the 400greybike group, having had an NC30 for a while. You can camp on site, there is a clubhouse with good food and a bar, plus showers and bogs. Plus for the classic bike do they have a band on in the exening.
This year was 3rd/4th aug. I think it was organised by classicbiketrackdays.com in association with practical sportsbike magazine.

This would be perfect :D

It was a bit dear for the trackday, but the 400greybike group got 10 % discount for a group booking.
Having seen this years event i think i would have a go next year.
There is loads of space for camping and you can make your own tent city for a group. Plus there is always a chance to get in the magazine. See the current issue for the report.
I'll keep an eye on this and put something together nearer the time.
Carry on with something for this year if you want, i'll come on the transalp. I can always hide it somewhere.

'Gloucestershire' is a bit vague. Do you mean the bit "above water" or the bit "below water" ?
Hope it the first bit.
Maybe see you out and about once the weather improves ??
Rubber side down, Red side up is my preferred riding style.

I would like to meet the people and see the bikes that are behind the nicknames on the forum. Cadwell Park is not too far from Hull. Its only that from rotterdam to hull and back costs not less than €300! To do a trackday would be a great combination. That would be a very exciting but also expensive weekend.

Cadwell would be a winner for me too. Even if you are not riding round the track it's a great place to fire up a BBQ, chill out, have a giggle over a few beers and ignore the large camping money collection bloke.

TRXs also love Cadwell.

I will be up for Cadwell on the TRX, plus 1 for my father in law on his TRX.

all things going well I plan to be doing a few track days there this year, would be great to have a few TRX's yomping round the track!

Just had an email from hottrax. They are doing a few early season specials, including Cadwell on Sat 22nd Feb for £49 they have 3 groups but one of them is for acu license training. Bargain if its not snowing. They also have oulton on Wed 19th feb for £49 and snetterton 200 on sunday 2nd march for the same price.
Post up if you book up!
All the best

Classic Bike trackdays have just announced the August weekend.
There is a trackday friday and saturday, with a band and party on the friday night.
Saturday is the best day for us as its backed by practical sports bikes.
Those wanting just to come and camp friday its £10, thats for camping. There is no entry charge unless you stay for the racing on sunday.
I shall book my spot for the saturday trackday. They are ok with TRX's despite the pre 1995 rule as the trx is withinn the spirit of the rules. (mine is 1995 anyway)
There is a 10 percent discount for group bookings but you need to make one payment and i'm not that wealthy.
The single bike price is £139 for the trackday plus you get free camping.

I would feel a bit of a wally bringing it to a pub car park on a trailer though.
Plan is to put together a basic road kit for next year though.

count me and Darkhor4e in
