I contacted them, cans are still available.youngy wrote:They are their own brand. they make them in-house.
Anyway, they ask £59 for postage to the NL. Is this reasonable? I think it is on the higher side but it will be a huge package, of course.

I can't see them trying to rip you for postage. UK Royal Mail is very expensive for large items going overseas. I recently sent a cylinder block and pistons to Sweden. Cheapest post was £43.

Personally would go for titanium. Carbon looks alright but wear quicker, from the sun and I expect the vibes from the twin would cut its life span.

I already wear a watch and a "wedding"-ring from titanium, so I think the choice is not that difficult!gregs656 wrote:Personally would go for titanium. Carbon looks alright but wear quicker, from the sun and I expect the vibes from the twin would cut its life span.

Yes, there is a budget. The guy who caused the damage paid an amount.Trixz wrote:Ehh... do you have budget then ...*kuch*Tarwetijger wrote:

Only paintwork is a problem. Sprayers are hard to find and (so) prices are sky high.

why don't you buy Killerwhale's tank and there is a mint fairing on ebay? saves you getting paint done.Tarwetijger wrote:Yes, there is a budget. The guy who caused the damage paid an amount.Trixz wrote:Ehh... do you have budget then ...*kuch*Tarwetijger wrote:

I already have a second hand fairing, tank and rear. In good condition but the wrong colors.youngy wrote: why don't you buy Killerwhale's tank and there is a mint fairing on ebay? saves you getting paint done.
And... I want to turn this whole thing in something more positive, and get the bike in some custom colors I really like!

I ordered (and paid) the cans from these guys above. It has been a while now though. I already asked how it was going, but they were still working on it. Link-pipes were ready, they had to finish the cans. Can't help getting nervous anyway

The guy was very quick with responses on e-mail before, but not anymore.
Phonecalls are also not answered.
I hope he's only enjoying holidays.

Re: Scorpion cans, how about it?
I bet they do and I hope so too. Please don't get me wrong, I don't want to be the jackass. But he told me he was almost ready to send it by the 'end of the week', but this is a month ago now. Just the idea that it is at the other side of the pool so I can't easily go and stop by there, makes me worrying about it (too much, I guess).
If it takes two weeks more, they have to send it to my new house, not to my old address they have now.
