Mate that should work. Let me know how you go. I priced one and they wanted about 275 AUD. Priority was not that high.
I bet you are missing the weather down there!!

Out in traffic the speedo shows 210kmh -ish
On the dyno it´s 180kmh -ish
....so the speedometer is a really happy one on the TRX it seems!

I have put my GPS on the TRX a few times with two speedo's. It is consistantly reading 10 klms too fast. Speed range from 70 - 120 klms/h

My little plug in cost £25, and took 5 minutes plus fairing removal to fit. How does that compare with the cdi change and price?

If its restricted you will know when you hit the limiter, believe it cuts out onto one pot, certainly won't go any faster, or rev any higher.

The weird thing is ... with mine the revs don't seem to be restricted. It will happly rev into the red line. But as soon as it goes to reading 185, either in 4th or 5th, the limiters cuts one cylinder out. With the speedo removed (effectively) it cuts the revs in any gear to 8500 rpm.

Mine was E-bay, I have UK, Aus and US sites loaded so I can check all for bits for my Ts250.
If you go on their web site, you may be able to order one, it does have an English translation and they still do de-restrictors.

Hi Martin
I'm a little paranoid about evil bay. Silly I know but... I never seem to be around on the computer at the right time either.
Do you know what model ecu? or do you have a link?

Be interesting to check it with a 120/70 front with your GPS. BTW reading 10% fast complies with the Oz standard. 1% slow is a big no no though.
