(In a James May voice) - Good news everyone!

PCRA has re-classed the TRX as Pre Modern F2 from next season!

Mind you there's still some very fast 600s out there.

2 weeks out till your first race meet guys.
How are things looking for you both???
I'm waiting for new fork bushes and they still aren't in the country since mid December so I may not be mobile to ride down Wakefield park. Gentle reminder for a few of the Sydney tribe who may want to muster a bit of support... A get a few photos.

Final check over conducted yesterday, cleaned and packed in the trailer. Will be on slicks for this race (and praying for fine weather) as finances have failed me and no new D211s yet for her. Looking forward to getting back out there after the last 2 years of no racing. Gonna be slow to start with whilst I get a feel for the bike and how she handles etc. Still it should be fun as long as the bike stays sticky side down.

3 entries are in for this weekend. Myself and Merrick Plater are running in PM F2 and Adrian has entered PM F1. So there will be 3 TRX's on the track this Saturday.

Well. A less than auspicious debut for myself, the result of not being able to run the bike properly before the meeting and just expecting that what had been a reliable roadie would be a reliable racer. My TRX decided that Saturday would be a good day to have fuel starvation problems. Not sure yet whether it's a pump problem but this is the first time my bike wouldn't run for more than a minute at full throttle. Suffice to say I did not cover the TRX in glory.

Adrian however had a good day from what I saw and was running well. Ray Oxford got some shots of us (up on his FB page) and apart from that we all went home in one piece I think.

Onwards to round 2, this time with some track/road time beforehand to make sure the old girl will keep going. It's very embarrassing to not finish a race!

Sorry to here things didn't quite go as planned .
Had a similar problem that ended up being the tank breather hole blocked on a screw on fuel cap that had been set up on the track tank.

I'm sure you'll sort it well.

Interesting engine covers. Are they for GCR's or just good foresight on your part?

Engine covers are required by the GCRs but you can't buy pretty CF ones so I made my own. The clutch cover one is probably overkill and I might yet remove it.

On another note, yet another TRX is being readied for racing. Troy Galvin, a mate who has been racing a ZXR 750 H1 has let me know that he is building up his Trixxie for the 2nd round of the PCRA club titles. That will make 4 racing next round.
