68mpg seriously?

Post by m4tth3w » Fri Jul 26, 2013 11:50 pm

Went for a jaunt round the peak district today and clocked up 131 miles.

I filled up when I got back and it had used just under 2 gallon.

With my rough calculations I worked it out to be 68mpg?

Seems too good to be true but is that normal?

55MPG is more normal, most I ever saw was 65 and that was mostly cruising dual carriageway..
'95 4NX with K&N filter, Motad Venom cans, YSS PD valves, Ohlins fork springs, 530 C+S, Green CDI, 11/16 radial master cylinder, +30mm jack up dog bones. Enjoyable money pit.
