Re: IOM TT Fairy Bridge
I think the main tourist one where you can leave little messages is on the A5 between Douglas and Castletown. There is another one which is supposed to be the real fairy bridge but I can't think where it is, think it begins with a k. Ive been on my TRX for the past 6 years but having to give it a miss this year. Have a great, and safe, trip.

Re: IOM TT Fairy Bridge
As Thule916 says, the bridge is on the Douglas to Castletown road (A5), roughly a half mile from Santon heading towards Ballasalla.
I'd assumed that the "real" fairy bridge was located further in the field on the left side of the road, southwards.
I've found this on Wikipedia and it says that the real bridge is in Kewaigue.
Hmmm, I'll see what some of the locals come up with.

Don't forget to say "hello" to the little people when you pass over the bridge!

Re: IOM TT Fairy Bridge
What Stu said!
I never realised the "proper" Fairy Bridge was in Kewaigue, though. Like Stu, I thought it was very close by the tourist one on the main road.
Parking is a bit sparse, so grab a space when you can there, and you absolutely must say hello to the little people there. Even the locals do it.

I'm absolutely gutted because for the second year running I can't make the TT. On the bright side I'm not spending this TT in a hospital bed like I was last year, but I'm still upset I can't go. I'm going to try to get back over for the Manx GP instead, though.

Yep, its on the way to Castletown. Said hello to them as I went past and the down to the Billown circuit for a bit of classic sidecar racing. Great fun, then on to the main paddock to rub shoulders with some real stars. Standing on the pitwall watching the superbikes go past the speed trap at 175mph... unblinkingbelievalble!!!
