Mileage? Odometer that is.

Post by MotoMarkus » Thu Jun 14, 2012 7:48 pm

Who has the highest or lowest mileage TRX?
Mine just turned 50000km, nothing done to the engine, other than valve adjustment once. Carbs are untouched and still it runs great, no smoke, no hesitation, not a heavy drinker but requires a pint between the oil changes, but honestly, dont we all??
Great bike, I'm really happy with it, turns out it has all the power I need (I must be getting old, at 32  )

Agree, my 14000km 900 motor gives all the power i need and at just over 10£ a month in insurance it´s REAL value!
6 very linear gears and NO oil consumption is great!
...a bit tuned though :?

It's a TDM 900 motor.
I'm addicted to brake fluid, but I can stop anytime.

my bike just turned 39000 (was 38 when i got it)

engine still sweet as the proverbial nut, got complete history but honestly haven't looked through it properly. instead just decided to give it a full service myself.

also, for me, just the right amount of power for the road. perfectly happy and not itching for something bigger or faster at all.

best bike i've ever had =).
