spotted this on ebay last week and couldn't resist

if the engine is really bad I'll put my good engine in it and rebuild this one for the streetfigher project.

at least it'll get me back on 2 wheels once again, even if it is over winter.

cam chain tips anyone?

actually, seeing as I bought another frame for my first TRX, and got the log book for it, I effectively own 3 TRX's now!

First of all check that the cam chain does actually need changing - the mileage ain't that high and it may be fine. As you know, TRXs rattle a fair bit at the top end ....

yeah, a mate of mine who had a TDM for a while said the guy may have just fitted the tensioner incorrectly?

My original engine is just sat there anyway, I could always swap that in and rebuild this one with a few tricks.

A mate of mine pointed that one out to me. I'd have bought it myself if I thought I would survive at home afterwards. Looked like damn good value at that price.

I'd be surprised if the cam chain really needs changing with that mileage. But it's not a difficult job TBH.

Actually that bike looked familiar. Did it belong to anyone who's posted on any of the forums?
