Maybe you need to try another brand of chain lube? I use Maxima Chain Wax on all my bikes - TRX, Vintage MXers & trials bikes & it's great! No fling off at all - it's recommended that you spray it on straight after a ride when the chain is warm & then leave it to work its way into the links & then 'set'. Another alternative I use (not on O ring chains though) is a Silkolene lube which comes in a large flat tin that you put on the stove & then submerge the chain into the boiling grease - also works well but makes the kitchen smell like shit  (Maybe better to do it outside on the bbq!)
Once you've had black - you'll never go back!

Bigamy is when you have one wife too many - Monogamy is the same!

I usually use wax, but the chain was so dry and rattley I had to fill it with spray lube first. Wax wouldn't have stuck. It's all good now.
