Hi all, I've had my TRX for a week now and I'm still grinning. Its my first big bike for more years than I care to mension so its all exciting ,fun and a bit scarey a times but I'm getting used to it and my wrists arnt hurting as much now! I have a couple of questions, 1) the bike has no tool kit, are there any must have tools in it that I need or can I just make up my own. 2) the bikes done 32K and appears to be running a bit rich ie the exhausts are a bit sooty, so is there anything I should be doing or watching out for?
I'm sure I'll think of more stuff but for now thats it. Thanks.
 Paul.

Re: Hello.
rear shocky adjuster is a must... go to a wreckers...I'm sure they'll have a few std tool kits for yamahas to keep the original feel. may have a trx std factory handbook if lucky too.
Enjoy the experience...your one of the blessed now

Re: Hello.
From what I can gather they all run a bit rich, but if your fuel consumtion is high, i.e. less than 120 miles before reserve, then your emulsion tubes are shot. I changed mine yesterday and it's easy enough to do and cheap as well. I ordered mine from factory pro in the states and they were here in under a week.
Welcome and a great choice in bike!!

Re: Hello.
Thanks for the advice, that all makes me feel happier with the bike,I've located a TRX toolkit at a braekers for £20 so I'll get that and I'll check the emulsion tubes. One other thing,I need a new right side foot peg,do any pegs from other models fit? Thanks again for the help.
