Hello again from New Zealand

Post by col » Fri Jul 18, 2008 11:02 am

Just thought i'd log on again and say hi again.
dont know if anyone remembers but i was i a blind panic
trying to source parts for my damaged trx before it was shipped to NZ.
well I've made it over, been here for 3 weeks now and it is such a great place.
all i got to do now is wait for the trx to arrive on 25th august  .
Brockzilla you were right, it is a fantastic place to settle.

we've decided to settle in Cambridge which is just outside hamilton.
I aint seen no spiders yet but they'll have to be bigger than a UK size 10
before i start to worry.

Now that imho is a great part of the country. With the mighty Wiakato river at your doorstep and Rotorua just a short TRX gallop across the Mamaku's you probably could not have done better.
So a big welcome from some of the locals

Gee Col, you're just across the pond from us now. Make it easy for you to catch a flight over to watch the Aust MotoGP, then, eh?

He's not a pheasant plucker ,he's a pheasant pluckers son . He's only plucking pheasant's till the pheasant plucker comes.
Try saying that 5 times fast

my bike should arrive around the 25th august.
I'll have a "litttle" tidying to do on it then i can start to explore properly.
Already i've found some fantastic roads (shame i've found them while i'm in the car)
They have mile after mile of twists and turns, Really tight hairpins and fast sweepers
all mixed in together. cant wait.
I was hoping to get over to PI this year but it looks i'll have to wait until 09.

Im green with envy col.
have a look at the corromande loop. start in thames and finish in thames or waihi would be a great days ride form cambridge, stop in katuna at the castle rock fruit wine shop.
by car or bike, my favorite part of the world.

good to hear you are all settled, h-town has a good selection of bike shops on terapa sraight
Is it Brock friendly???
