A bit of a fright

Post by biker_jay » Mon May 19, 2008 11:07 pm

Had a bit of a worry this afternoon. Had just nipped out to meet someone on the rex, when i started the bike to come back, it fired up for a second then cut out. All the electrics gone i thought it might be a fuze gone, I knew i didnt have any spare fuzes and it would only take 5 mins to push back home (mental note: get spare fuzes). When i got back i had a fumble around and all the fuzes were fine. I was getting worried as to what it was and started checking bits. As the power goes from the battery through the ignition (basically) i traced the wire, then i found it. The connector for the ignition had a loose cable. Now sorted.

I was lucky this time but just goes to show its the little things that make the big things work.
