re TLs

Post by tomrux » Thu Jan 31, 2008 5:25 am

have a Busa and a TRX and a TLs in the Garage.

Busa, great fun on the open road but hard work when the going gets tight

TRX great fun in the twisty stuff but runs out of puff when it opens out.

TLs huge fun every where but a little short on range. just like a TRX but on steroids.

Easy.

Sell the Busa, you'll save a fortune on speeding tickets.

Sell the TLs. Steroids shrink your testicles. Ask any of the Pom riders' who have eaten chicken over the past few years (particularly one who thinks Aussie's and kangaroo's are a natural mix?).

Add a decent pipe, K&N's, tyres, suspension set-up, and a healthy dose of "I don't need to do be doing 200km/h to have fun!"

Enjoy!

:D

No no no!!!
Keep Busa....sell other bike (or spend cash) on a good turbo system.
Once ridden a turboed busa or R1 you WILL want one, the adrenaline you get is...insane! :riding:

Not sure how they compare to TLRs, but my mate is lucky to get 200km out of a tank and this drops lower if commuting about town...

Nice bike though, but it does require a fair bit of muscling around tight stuff with the stock damper (but still goes round thankyouverymuch).

Trust me bloke i enjoy the hell out of all my toys, no point having em if you not going to use em . dont want to be dead any time soon but I aint going to sit back and cruise either.

Taking the gen1 busa out to drags this weekend to see if I can get the 10 second run i know is in it.
