Hello ! New on this forum, hope to get some answers from the ones who know
I am replacing my instrument on my TRX and looking for what the cables mean on the temp meter (3st) , and the tachometer (3st). Anyone knows ?

Welcome!

Black is GND or minus
Brown is power from fuse/ignition
Grey or black/yellow is rev signal from ignition
Green/red is signal from temp gauge

All according to the nice color wiring diagram in my Haynes' book.

What instrument are you changing to?

Ok, let us know how it ends.

I'm looking at getting a lighter unit too, with shift light. Would like Koso GP one but too expensive. OTOH I'm not sure if I think all LCD fits the bike either...

So after some thinking I decided to go for the Daytona Velona 80. This is not final mount. I have bought a used upper york that I will modifie so the gauge comes down a little bit..but I like the gauge...
