Brings back memories. The firstTRX I ever rode was on just such a session at Cadwell organised by what, as I recall, was called the Yamaha Race school. Great fun, and they didn't even mind if you dropped their bikes. If it still ran you could get up and carry on. Not that I did, mind. Well, not more than once :)

Reminds me of my first go on track i reckon it was 1990 at Cadwell and they had VF400's !!

It was a free for all as soon as you set off no sighting laps no instructors one group all abilities and 30 bikes, chaos loved every minute :D

Yep, me too. The Honda Race School on a VFR400 in 1991. I had former 125cc British Champion Rob Orme showing our group the apex's

Loved it so much I bought a Seeley Suzuki TR500 and went Forgotten Era racing the next season.
I managed to high side the thing on first lap of my first ever race at Darley Moor :oops:

I was 25 but couldn't afford to go racing till I was 40 !!
Best fun, laughs, pain, piss ups and friends ever though
