Yamaha TRX850 Enthusiasts Forum

My TRX is displaying the usual running rough at around 3500 RPM symptoms, my question is what are the options when replacing them, (£28 each from my local Yamaha dealer), i don't know whether to go for the complete carb refurb kit, or a Dynojet or whatever other jet kits are available. Its running a K&N filter in the stock airbox & Simmi race cans, i've not re-jetted since fitting them a couple of years ago & its always run well till recently. Any advice greatfully accepted cheers.

for non standard parts you can go Dynojet or Factory Pro. These options are more expensive

If you just want to fix the fuelling problem then go with a replacement kit. If you want to rejet your carbs go with Factory Pro or Dynojet

As detailed in the thread above I am using a standard carb kit with a K&N Filter and race cans and have a set up I am very happy with. I have no experience with the Dynojet set up or Factory pro.

I've bought just the etubes from them, but they do all the bits. You need to tell them the number off your old tubes. Cant say what they cost now, i did mine years ago.

kind of useless for him then, given the needles and tubes are the parts he is looking for

If the poster did want to use the Factory Pro option then I think new seals to go with the needles and emulsion tubes would be a good idea.
