Shock horror...

Post by trixynut » Wed Nov 22, 2006 3:07 pm

Anyone know the length of the standard rear shock when unloaded?

I've taken an approximate measurement off my bike, but was hoping for an accurate one, from hole centre to hole centre?

Also.....this is probably dead obvious but just to confirm, a longer shock would raise the back end up, right?

I'm not sure it necessarily would. Static, yes, loaded ... well that depends on spring rates etc.

Or am I talking bollox?
