Carb Needles
Im going to replace my needles to try to pick up some much needed economy and was wondering what ones I should go for. Factory Pro, Dynajet, or new std ones. Where would I get these from?
My bike maybe a dinosaur but it still has some bite & has a mighty roar.

Re: Carb Needles
DynoJet has been bashed at, but FactoryPro's have been praised, mostly because of the material in the needles. What I've understood, is that the std carb construction causes the needles to wiggle back and forth, and causing the needles and tubes to wear down. Don't know the UK market, but should you decide to go for Mikuni needles, don't by them from Yamaha, this guy is in Germany, but speaks perfect English (think he actually is Brittish?), and has excellent service and knows about TRXs; www.topham.de. It's worthwhile to order from there for me at least, in comparison with Swedish prices!Kenny wrote:Im going to replace my needles to try to pick up some much needed economy and was wondering what ones I should go for. I've had no problem with DJ stuff but it does seem to have a bit of a bad reputation. No experience of factory pro but heard good things
And yes, topham is the way to go - doubt you'll find them cheaper (although the exchange rate may have affected that?)
