Pilot screw adjustment

G'day,

It's been a while since I worked on my bike. Hell, it's been a while since I've even seen my bike, but I actually managed to start it today.
Pity it won't move of idle, it just stalls at the slightest opening of the throttle.
Without taking the whole damn thing apart, does anyone have any suggestions of how to adjust (and possibly remove) the pilot screws?
Poor old bike has sat neglected for >2 years while I've been working (honest, I've been busy, not in jail.)
It did run quite well previously and is basically stock.
I did know an awful lot about TRX's but time away has dulled the memory.
One thing I hate is pulling the carbs off.

dicky.

The fuel has left `varnish` in the jets,it comes from the additives in the fuel.
I`m afraid the only way you`re likely to sort it is to get them off and give them a good clean. If you want to do a good job on them ultrasonic cleaning is the way to go.
I`m lucky enough to own one.
