I was just searching the Japanese auction website (even though I cannot speak a word of it), just to get some inspiration and stumbled across the following:

It appears that all of these calipers have an adapter plate that would suit fitment to our beloved TRX. Has anyone done this, or ridden one that has it done already? I would be interested in hearing the response - especially the two "NISSIN" sets (6 vs 4 - no contest )

I like the wee fairing,works out to £239.85 at the current exchange rate.
You couldn`t buy it in the UK of that I`m certain.I wonder what carriage costs would be?

I'll second that. I always think they look untidy. I like things to look like they're meant to be there. Just my opinion though.

Yes even the very best ones tend to look home made but short of changing the whole front end to accept better calipers what can you do ? I chose to change the whole front end on my FZ750, better forks, bigger wheel, better brakes, much better.

'Blue spots' bolt straight onto TRX forks (and pretty much every Yamaha in the last 25 years)

Unfortunately for me it's probably only the last 20 years. My 87 FZ750 has/had puny forks with wrong spacings for blue spots. I think they (FZ's) changed to the more common set up around 1990 with fatter forks as per FZR/TRX/Thundercat which accept the blue spots but yeah I just realised, why would you want better brakes than blue spots on a TRX anyway ?

Strange - they fit my 88 tdr?

And as you say, you don't need any more on a TRX (unless your name is V Rossi)

All points above are noted. I was just looking for interest sake. I have blue-spots to fit and will be doing so very soon. It was just a case of seeking information for information's sake.

Apart from the Blue spots, I would recomment the PFM setup
