Need help identifying engine

I've come across an engine, but the seller does not know where it's from. (It's a wrecker's company, and they recently re-located...)

Basicaly it loks like a TRX engine, but:
-oil filler pipe is a rubber thingy
-the upper casing for the oiltank looks slightly different, indented top front
-the cams are what made me hesitate though, they were not for a 180 degree engine, but on the other hand it didn't look like 270 cams, more like 230 something. Extremely weird...

Engine number was 4TX-092261.

Anyone who can give me a hint to origin and year, will get a bfree beer next time we meet

That's easy, 4TX = TDM.

Edit: like this one, model year 1996 to 1999.

Sure? That would mean the engine could come into handy as a spares supplier...

I had a lock at the oiltankcover on my TRX now, and it looks the same. Memory failure, they're becoming more common...

And the cams, must have been some optical phenomena. I mean, there hasn't been any other implementations than the 180 and the 270 crank, and as it wasn't a 180, it must have been a 270 version. But it did look strange...

So, I owe you one then, just tell me when You're around!
